The inauguration of the Distance Learning Diploma in Human Rights and Peace Studies

is scheduled to be held. The objective of this programme, which is funded by the UNDP, is to provide

61 quazis are expected to participate in the orientation programme and 30 Quazis to attend

the training workshop.

Monitoring Visit to Community Centre

A Monitoring visit was carried out to the Polonnaruwa Community Centre

Date 23rd April 2009

A CD was launched by the Community Centre with the objective of increasing the rate of literacy in the community.

This activity was supported by The Coalition for Educational Development and a copy of the CD was handed over

to Hon.Siripala Gamlath- Deputy Minister of Agriculture.
